MRTI advocates for meaningfully addressing climate change

Rev. Kerri N. Allen chairs the Committee on Mission Responsibility Through Investment, representing the Advocacy Committee for Women and Gender Justice. Her commitment to advancing gender and racial equity resonates throughout her ministry, whether as an executive leader in healthcare, an ethicist, or a writer on theological matters. Having recently relocated from the Midwest to the East Coast, she now serves as the Deputy to the President at Princeton Theological Seminary.

Rev. Dr. Mark Douglas is the J. Erskine Love Professor of Christian Ethics at Columbia Theological Seminary. He serves on the Committee on Mission Responsibility Through Investment and the Advisory Committee on Social Witness Policy. His current research explores how climate change and environmental degradation shape violent conflicts and the responsibility of religious bodies to respond.
