War is ugly, dehumanizing and destructive. Moving beyond superficial sentiments, this issue creates space for veterans from Iraq and Afghanistan to tell the truth about war. Readers will learn about moral injury, just war theory and the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.)’s stance on peace and peacemaking. We will “weep with those who weep” (Romans 12:15) and faithfully seek ways to support our soldiers.
