Doug Basler is pastor of Union Park Presbyterian Church in Des Moines, Iowa. He is a D.Min student at Western Theological Seminary in the Sacred Art of Writing program at the Eugene Peterson Center for Christian Imagination. He served as the final pastor of First Presbyterian Church of Des Moines, which was dissolved in May of 2022.
