Youth With a Focus Teso is an indigenous charitable Community-Based Organization (CBO) established in Uganda with a legal license and agreement documents in the year 2014 by volunteer youth to contribute to the process of restoring hope and economical empower to the youth who are considered unproductive or insignificant and don’t make the best use of the time and abilities in the community and who have good ideas but are unable to showcase them.

Founding President

Stephen Edyegu is the Founding President of YWAFT and he brings a vast experience in fields such as WASH Project Management, Logistics in Materials, and Supply Chain Management. Worked extensively in emergency and development programmes both in conflict and post conflict operations with various NGOs and International agencies affiliated to UN system.  

Our Team

YWAFT project team includes the project manager and other group of individuals who work together on a project to achieve its objectives. It consists of the project manager, project management staff, and other team members who are directly and indirectly involved with management but carry out the work related to the project.

Omiat Emmanuel brings the best practices for governance to design, develop and implement strategic plans for the organization (YWAFT) in a manner that is both cost and time-efficient. He is also responsible for the day-to-day operation of the organization, which includes managing committees and staff as well as developing business plans in collaboration with the board.

Mary Apolot is an experienced facilities manager with strong administrative, management and organizational skills. Mary is a logistician and computer specialist with strong community development and project management experience. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management from East Africa International University.

Justine Ediegu is the chairperson and an executive elected by a company’s board of directors who is responsible for presiding over board or committee meetings. Justine often sets the agenda and has significant sway as to how the board votes.
